holy crap!!! announcer " when you look at the profile of the aircraft it is very hard to distinguish between the real aircraft and the model."  He forgot to announce that the crash and the large plume of black smoke that ensues also makes it hard to distinguish between the real aircraft and the model :D

That would be cool if the bomb bay doors really opened, and you could load it with water balloons to bomb your neibour kids with :smilielol:

There is a RC plane club a few towns over from me and every now and then I go out and watch then fly their toys.

Every now and then some ass decides to turn on a remote with the same freq as someone flying their plane and causes it to crash.

These people put a enormous amount of time and thousands of dollars into these planes and its really sad when one gets destroyed.  Much the same when you see a classic car get into a accident.

The detail on those planes are amazing.

there is absolutely no way they can ever find out who does that huh?

All radio controls and crystals are suppose to be turned into the controller and only specific frequencies are suppose to be used during the day. If you need to test your radio equipment they make sure you are not using the same freq as someone on the field.

But there is always that one person that does not feel the rules apply to them or they intentionally do it while hiding in a car or motorhome. Because they think its funny I guess.

I'm sure if they found the person that caused the crash they could hold them financially liable for the damage but you would never be able to replace the time that was spend building the plane.

I can't find the picture of the WWII Japanese Zero that someone took control of and crashed into a car and motorcycle that was parked by the field. There were some pissed off people looking for the person that did that. Really unless someone sees you do it there is no way to find the responcible party.
