What kind of nuts for the hinge?

My new door for the console glovebox needs some nuts for the hinge, some kind of speednuts?

Yes, it is supposed to have some unique dome shaped speed nuts. They are kind of acorn shaped. Not sure if you can get them repro or not.

Be careful when you tighten them, they are easily rounded.
I switched them out with standard nuts, much better!

yep done the same & put little black plastic domes on the nuts , similar to vacume plugs  :yesnod:

I ended up using real nuts as well. I didn't even need to tap them. The potmetal is so soft that the steel nut threaded as it went on.
