Proper color for grille attachment hardware

Anyone know what the bolts, washers and nut colors were on the 68 grille?  This is the hardware that attaches the headlight buckets to the center piece...Thanks

I painted the bucket hardware on my 69 grille with SEM titanium silver.

Tom, thanks.  I have that Eastwood zinc plating kit and metal blackener kit. I have been using these for most of my hardware.  My stuff was so rusty that I couldnt really tell what the original colors were although it seemed like most of the bolts were done in a black finish.  I may just do all in zinc..
