Here's another one. We passed this guy on the way from Tulsa to Dallas. Note the Texas plate.

John Scott from southern Illinois owned these two.  He was an early DSAC member.   He might be the first person I ever heard of to own two Superbirds.    The one thing I remember is the white car had wheel arches that were almost half round from the way they were repaired.

alot of bird came with bench seat and all benchs had headrests in 70 , road runners where the budget muscle car remember so most had the cheaper bench

That's correct. I took them at the '76 SM Nationals in Tulsa. We also went to the show in St. Paul, MN in 77. I still have the t-shirts from both shows. They seem to have 'shrunk' over the years.  ;)

I'll never be able to wear them again and should give them to some kid. They would be a neat collectable to wear at a show.

I have had T-shirts shrink over the years also...  :shruggy:

Take them to a T-shirt shop and they can copy the design onto a shirt that will fit you a bit better, that's what I did

I went to the car craft nats in Illinois a few times.There was 2 bronze daytonas side by side and retro customized cars.I think I got coverage on a VHS tape
