Which brand do ya'll like, cork or rubber, and 1/16" thick or 3/16"?  The Charger's driver's side is leaking (must be the high compression). :D  Thanks for the help guys!

I'm running the thicker rubber ones on my 440 (I think Fel-Pro, can't recall for sure) and have had zero problems with them.

I like the rubber ones because you seem to have a better chance to reuse them in case the valve cover needs to come off.  :Twocents:

Anyone use the blue Moroso rubber gaskets?

I bought 'em for my 440.  Engine is still in long block form so don't have any field data yet.  They have a steel insert in them that keeps them from spreading out.  Kind of pricy---but reusable.  A possible downside is that they are blue.  Don't know if they can take paint.  Mine are not painted.  Rest of engine is Hemi Orange.  So they do kind of stick out like a sore thumb.

Those are the ones that I just bought, they are Fel-Pro and they're made for high temps.  Glad to here you haven't had any problems. Thanks.

Where did you buy those?  I didn't know they were making those with the steel inards.

They say they only fits moroso valve covers, but that's not true?

Al

I remember seeing them used with mopar cast aluminum valve covers too. But haven't tried out myself yet.
