Hey gang..
Off the top of my head, I can't remember the term or form# used for the classic vehicle registration in which you pay in 5 year increments, are issued the little white tag and there's no safety inspection required. Obviously, it has limited use criteria..

If I remember right, The antique tags are good for 5 years for $50 as long as the vehicle is 25 years old or older and can only be used to parades, shows that sort of thing. There is also a break for older cars that get the price down to $40 but I think it's back in the 30's or earlier.  They also have classic car tags that I think run $15 a year but they can be used to drive the car daily. I have a link to all this info on another computer, I'll hunt it down and post it.

Here is the link for the Classic car tag form, but I'm not sure if this is what you want to get away from the inspection or not. I know the antique tags get you away from it.

If that's not what you're looking for then I'd just go to your County Tax Assessor-Collectors office where you get your tags at and get the form you want. That would be where you need to send it to anyway.

Sorry, I thought you wanted the classic vehicle registration like you mentioned in the first post instead of antique. Two different critters.

Sorry about my miscommunication.. I wasn't quite sure which program I was looking for, I just knew the process ( 5 year increments, white tag, etc..) I got pushed in the right direction although and that's all that matters....
