Steering problem

Big day today... Finally added gas to my tank, topped off all the fluids and properly fired up the 440 in my '68 Charger for the first time.

As usual, I had a few niggling problems, but nothing to worry about. However, the fluid level in the power steering pump reservoir had dropped, and when I refilled it, the steering turned fully to the left 'by itself'.
If I center the steering, or turn it to the right, it turns fully to the left again. If I allow the steering to sit turned to the left with the engine idling, the PS pump gets extremely hot.

I'm sure this is a sticky valve in the steering box, but does anyone have a known fix for this? Do I need to order any parts or will it respond to a clean/adjust/teardown/reassembly.

Thanks for any advice...  :2thumbs:

You just have to loosen the two bolts on top and slide the thing the hose attached too up or down until you find the right spot.
Sorry for my lack of technical terms lol.
There's a thread addressing this, Ill see if I can find it.
