440 engine build oiling modifications or not?

OK, you guys have helped me pretty well on the main girdle, now how about any oiling modifications?  I would figure a good aftermarket high-volume oil pump with a deeper sump pan would be fine for the bottom end, but have any of you made modifications to get more oil to the top for the valve train?  Or, is stock form fine for my 500 hp build using a stock stroke crank and aluminum heads.  What's your thoughts on this?  Synthetic oil? Is anyone using oil misters in the valve covers?  Curious.
