Vynil Top Removal??

does anyone know how to remove the half vynil top thats on the '75-'78 Charger SE's? its got a metal piece underneath and i dont know how to remove it i want to paint the car one solid color any help is DEEPLY appriciated!!

I'm not to familiar with the vinyl top on that year but can't you just cut along the side of the trim with a razor blade and pull the vinyl back, your going to have to do body and paint to it.
