CASTING numbers don't maen sht...It's the Other side of the block that actually has the date cast into it...Look on the other side..

They can be hard to read.

Used from 1967 - 1975

The casting date will not mean much either. Look on the front of the block for the engine serial number, it will have the date of final assembly stamped into it.

If you can also get the partial VIN (if it has one) from the pad on the passenger side it would help narrow down what type of car it was in originally.
