What's with the little cell phone icons?

I keep seeing little cell phone message icons by guys like Lowprofile. Does that mean they started a thread with a palm unit like a Blackberry?

Same here  :shruggy: Though that was windows mobile, havent tried yet on my Droid (BTW, Android system rocks!)
