non-a/c hose routing on a/c firewall?

If I have a factory A/C car, how do I hook up the heater hoses now, bi-passing the A/C inlets and outlets of the heater core? I want to run the car non-A/C now, but reserve the ability to install the underhood stuff later and run it later if I want.

Clear as mud?  Do I just cap off the A/C outlets, or loop them to each other, or what?

Unless you plan on running heat on all the time you still need to use the water valve in the circuit to shut the flow off to the heater core
