radiator hoses???? 68 r/t....

hey guys...
im having trouble locating an upper & lower rad hose that will fit!?!?!?!?
there was a crapppy flex hose on when i first bought it... ugggg buut now we are soooooo close to firing her up!!! BUT can't seem to get a upper & lower hose that fits!!!
does anyone know a part number i can get hoses from!?!?!?! i was told "GATES" hoses are prob the most common. i have a 440 (non a/c car).... and soooo far stock hoses won't match up?!?!?!? WTF!!!! lol

Does your car have the proper radiator and water pump? That could be causing you the problems.

  Do you have a picture of the engine compartment? The radiator from a later car could have upper and lower opening on the opposite side's. The water pump housing from a later model engine has the lower opening on the passenger side.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

all i have tonight is a"before" pic of the engine compartment. i'll take some tomorrow at the shop....
the rad is a 26".... i measured earlier to make sure....

top one looks normal 440 26" radiator  :yesnod:  like Squeakefinder  said  could be water pump housing is incorrect & radiator

A383Wing

I used Goodyear hoses....

Lower hose - #60659 (is the same for both 22" & 26" radiators)
Upper hose - #60664 (should be the same if your 22" radiator has inlet on far passenger side)

Anyway, those are what I used....most any good part store should either be able to cross te numbers or get those hoses

ummmm ive got 2004 acura rsx seats in my car... just to start.... ummmmm i don't think correct stamped hoses are gonna help me out at the councourse d elegance show!!! hahaha lmfao!!! i could care less if it were a garden hose... as long as it gets the job done & i can drive my car & tear up some asphalt!!!!!!! lol

Funny way to mount the alternator!  You have any problems with the belt jumping off? :smilielol:
