Hello I am trying to find out the best way to use the 9.25 rear end that I have. It appears to be out of a truck because the spring perches are on the top of the axle instead of underneath. Is this rear end going to be useable in my 73 Charger project? I appreciate any help or direction in this.

the best way is to make sure that it will fit your needs. it needs to be the correct width, pinion angle, perch width, shock mounts, bolt pattern, lug size, pilot size, u-joint series, parking brakes need to adapt. that's it. Where are you located we might be able to help

I am located in Newport News Virginia. I measured the length and the perch distance they seem to have the same measurements. I will recheck them again to make sure. It is a 5- 4.5 lug pattern so that is not an issue.
