Are they funding anyone in Pro Stock or any other class, NASCAR, anything, nothing?

I would assume that given thier current state of bankruptcy, and the money that they are on the hook for to the Gov., that CEObama would,nt be too happy about the Chrysler Corp. getting involved in anything fun. But with the merger to Fiat Mopar is now intertwined with Ferrari and they are in F1.

Those two opposites are part of what is making me wonder what their plans are.  If the F1 influence can spill over hopefully it will manifest itself in continuing funding to drag racing contingency and keeping Mopar Performance or Direct Connection or whatever they are going to call it now afloat.  F1 and Ferrari racing doesn't help me much.

They have just one NASCAR team left.  Penske Racing South.  That is Kurt Busch in the Blue Deuce, Sam Hornish Jr. in the 77 and Brad Keselowski in the 12.  Even Petty left Dodge during the off season.

Is Chrysler providing any of that money though?  I thought that was all being funded by the dealers association, or is that more or less the same thing?

I am not sure about the Penske team.  I know the dealers association was involved with Evernham Racing, but Ray sold out his interest, and the new owner dumped Dodge this off season and went to Ford.

D@mn Petty dropped Dodge, I'm not into Nascar at all but that sounds almost blasphemous even to me

Petty doesn't even own Petty anymore does he?  I thought Petty Enterprises was sold to some sort of mutual investment firm or something like that.
