O.K, now that I have identified what appears to be a true to original wheel for my '68 Charger 440 r/t  (Magnum 500 wheel) and a good place to get them as identified through this website.  My question now is this:  what are the original equipment specs on wheels for a 1968 R/T w/440 CID with the Mag 500 wheels?  My understanding is that only the 426 came with 15 inch wheels - meaning that the 440 had 14 inch wheels.  Tire size I have read was F70 x 14.  I want to be as original as possible.

For my make and model, would the original equipment wheel and tire size be a 14 inch wheel, 6 inch width, 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern with a F70 x 14 tire?

I believe the wheels are 5 1/2" wide originally. I don't think that a 14"x6" was available from the factory.

14x6 was available in 1970.  Up until then it was 14 x 5 1/2"
