Does anyone here know the weight of the Speed Pro L2266F30? And the Speed Pro L2355F30?

I have a set of speed pro mine are domed, they are just setting here. Are mine one of the ones you need weighed if so i can weigh them, if you want

They weigh within a few grams of the factory pistons....balancing is allway easy when using those slugs because the bobweight is almost identical to stock. I believe the 2355's are approx 880 grams.

Stolen from a post by John Kunkel on another board:

The 2266+30 weighs 875 grams without pin, this is about 70 grams heavier than the stock '72 and later piston.

The 2355+30 weights 872 grams.

The next post down says the pins are 220 grams.

Thanks for the replys everyone, I appreciate it.

(Troy that thread from MoparChat was especially helpful because removing my 2266's and installing the 2355's without having to rebalance is the issue).

When I had this 440 rebuilt back in '92 the builder said the 2266 pistons were listed as 10:1 comp. replacement pistons, but since then I've learned that 8.6:1 comp. is more accurate with these pistons and the stock 906 heads. The engine runs good and is pretty strong but I'd really like to get the compression ratio up around 9.5.

If the new 2355 pistons are only 3 grams lighter than the existing 2266's I don't see that as being an issue. What do guys think?

For a street motor i wouldn't lose any sleep over 3 grams of static weight.  :Twocents:
