Hello Guys,
first post for me on the forum. Can't find an introduce topic. I'm from Germany and bought 2 years ago a 68 Charger R/T. FT states it was delivered with an C&W interior but the car came with black interior. I want to rebuilt it like the FT and want to know which parts are white and which are black. What I've found is following:
kick panels - black
dash pad - black
a pillar mouldings - black
seat tracks - black
seat belts - black
door panels - white
upper door pads - white
headliner - white
sun visors - white
seat hinge covers - white
door inside white overspray, what other parts deserve an overspray on the inside of the car?
what color for the package tray, rear window inside moulding, the metal bar between the windshield and headliner and the metal bar between the headliner and the side windows?
where i can find rear shoulder belts and a complete rear defrost set?
Kind regards.
R. Werner

Package tray, windshield and rear window trim is black. The metal trim pieces between the headliner and side windows are white.

As for the overspray, it primarily goes around the door panel and upper door pad out to the weatherstripping. Both of my white interior cars also have a bit at the front of the rear panel as well. It ends at the pinch weld in the door frame. As you can see, they covered a lot more on the black car.

You know what, now I'm not positive on the rear window trim. It's usually trashed. I'll see if I can find a reference on that.
