OK has anyone ever seen this option on a Charger? I've seen it in books but know of none who have seen it on the car.  :scratchchin:

Cooter

There was one in Mopar Muscle at the Nats...Had the Wipers on the headlights..Some super, crazy, rare option or something...

My grandfathers '70 Imperial Labaron had them............But I've never seen them on a Charger. :scratchchin:
It would interesting to see.

I've only seen them on a couple of 3rd gens with hide aways. I saw a set of wipers at a swap meet one year but they weren't giving them away by any means. Neat rare option!

Wasn't it like a one year only deal for 71 or 72?  I've only seen it on a couple of Chargers as well.

Yeah, I should have been more specific..... I've only seen them on '71s. Now I'm  curious if they were offered in '72.

From what I can find it was option J24 and it was indeed 1971 only.  Could only be ordered if the car had hideaway headlights too.

Daytona R/T SE

My old '71 Imperial has them, Push the button, the pump sprays the washer fluid on the headlights, and the brushes scrub the bugs off.

Pretty cool, but I'm not sure how well it worked :shruggy:

I thought about putting this system on one of my '72 Chargers just for the hell of it.

The old Imperial is rusty as hell, and I'm going to part it out someday, so we'll see then if I want to screw with it... :scratchchin:

Nacho... Is that set up pictured with Whitey from a Fury/Imperial? All the bottles I have for the Charger are molded in black plastic so they are not visable through the grille. Also, not sure about the attach tabs.
