The link is to a for sale ad from one of those collector car places but the car is being billed as a public relations car.

At the same place did you see the black 70 Charger body section for sale? I think it's from the Fast and Furious movies, where they needed to mount one on a truck for filming. I see the F F 350 chevy motored car brought 130,000.00.  :scratchchin:

car is GREAT for sure, but nowdays not even a 2nd gen car will get that price that easy

That's a fairly high vin.
Maybe if ordered as "public relations" the dealer got a better price or didn't have to pay for it till the model year was almost over.

I'm assuming by public relations they are referring to a press fleet car.  One of the ones displayed at auto shows or loaned to magazines.
