hey guys what was the first year the 440 hp block was introduced and what did it come in  :shruggy:
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

440 "hp" block is "same same" as all the rest, save for the stamping, thats it, thats all.

Which means technically you can begin your search with 1966 model C-bodies (unless you want one stamped "HP" just for the stamping, in which case the 1967 B-body answer is correct).

For the sake of argument, the 440 used in '66 Chryslers and Imperials was 350 hp; there was an optional 365 hp that had the bumpity-bump HP cam so it was technically HP compared to the 350 hp but I don't know if it was stamped HP.
