I am looking to swap a 360 out of a 84 dodge van(with a 727 I believe) into my currently stock 318/904 dodge charger.

I was wondering what all would need to be changed? other than the car oil pan.  I was told I might need a new torq converter?

If you bolt the 360 to the 904 tranny in the Charger you will need to either add the 360 weights to the convertor or get a weighted flexplate from one of the tranny companys and keep the neutral balanced 318 convertor and then you will have to modify the drivers side motor mount or get a 340-360 style motor mount there is probably more things but thats all I can think of right now.

what year is your charger again? I think you said 73, does it have the spool type motor mounts? I have the 340-360 mounts from my 68 if they will work for you.
