well well..so my '69 has been running great for the last year and all the mechanicals done...2 weeks ago some idiot ran into the back of it and smashed in my lower valance...but....he had excellent insurance and when the adjuster came out he said..great car..we have no idea how to price this..so you tell me.....heh heh... sent him an estimate and they sent a check. upshot is that the ol scow now gets an entire new set of quarterpanels and a paint job...so its over at  my friends excellent custom shop and I just ordered all the amd goodies to replace everything from the doors back...now since I did the whole front last year, this means essentially all new straight clean wonderful metal on the car...

stoked. I will take pix as we go...

they really weird part of the accident was, the guy who hit me tried to 'bro up'..was all..'wow nice car'...

YEAH TOO BAD YOU RAN INTO IT.

I was so pissed I was seeing red..had to call my wife to get her to come down and deal with the guy I was so pissed. then the next day I realized...oh wow now I can fix....
