I can't provide pics but basically they are attached to the inside edge of your door sills.  The tab portion is anchored to the floor and then any wiring running to the rear of the car is placed alongside the door sill.  These covers are then just folded over so that the larger portion is covering the wires.

I bought a set of those new covers myself... kinda goes along with the new front floor   :icon_smile_blackeye:
The rust kinda bleds in with the T5.

Yeah... it was that way 30 years ago - luckily it wasn't me that it happened to.  There was a halfazz patch over it.   That's why I went for the AMD full front floor.
I swore I put a Lakewood loop on the car way back when but it's long gone.

When I was asking the previous owner about details to verify it was my old car one of my questions was if the tranny tunnel had a big hole in it from a front u joint explosion!!!

Sure wish i knew about those a couple of months ago, tired of fixing rusty ones. LEON.

Hemidog

Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to a restauration thread with your old car Brian!

Here's a pic to show how they're attached. The tabs are spot welded to the structure. They are not hinged so after a few times of bending them back and forth they'll break.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

Ah, now I get it. great picture!
