what color does the 73-74 power steering box get painted ?

i media blasted my power steering box . the color that was on it before was a dark , blue that didnt  look correct to me . i like to paint it the way it came from the factory . pics would be great .

Semi Gloss Black - on the box and pump is correct. This is based on up to 72 cars....I'm sure it was the same after that as well. The blue looks like whoever re-painted the car kept going with everything still bolted on. Either that or it was rebuilt and the rebuilder painted it in their "signature" color. We had a Rad company in the 70-80's that repainted all the rebuilt rads a Petty kind of blue.
