Need some help

decided on silver paint for the car and I have combed the site looking at rides but it is a pain to find all the silver ones to look at. I heard that silver fades fast? I would like to know if the quallity of diffrent auto makers makes a diffrence and would like to see some more silver cars if there out there. I was looking at a mercedes color and I know there is someone on here with there paint but I can't find you.

I painted my car the summer of 1987.  I used a 1987 Jeep Silver color.  It has held up without fading.  I wax the car once every 90 days.  I'm very happy with my color choice

Your color fade out is going to have more to do with the quality of paint you buy. Don't cheap out on your paint and buy ebay special mix. Pick a quaity brand ,i personally spray nothing but PPG, and use their system from start to finsh including all undercoats. A good quality clear coat will protect from the uv rays that cause the fade out. I just painted a 63 Sport Fury Viper Silver and it looks awesome.
