A '68 R/T 4-speed with A/C?

What do the '68 Guru's think? Early build (Inland shifter) car. Convenient that the fender tag is missing, and the build sheet very torn up. Could have been an add-on once upon a time I guess....

It looks like that 8.75 has been there a long time.  Hard to tell but doesn't look like a Dana was ever back there.    Would have to see the floor board to be sure.  I'm sure that's why they say the tranny isn't #'s matching.

There's no proof that one is original. Most likely a four speed conversion.

FWIW, my A/C car was originally automatic. The donor R/T stick car was no A/C.
