electronic ignition suggestions/reviews?

Been working hard to get my sons 72 charger with a stock 2 barrel 318 with headers and dual exhaust running good. Been having alot of issues right off idle with hesitation. Decided maybe we would be best to just go electronic ignition with a programmable timing curve. Any suggestions on what to buy and what works best. Keeping in mind son is 16 and on a tight budget so can't get too exotic.

The best bang for buck in electronic ignition is still the Mopar Performance conversion kit.  That said, have you gone through the carb to eliminate the cause of your hesitation?
