I remember someone on here doing it recently to his 68(?). I was just curious, what would you have to change in the engine bay to a 73/74 to be able to make this conversion?

The only difference i would see would be motor mounts (TTI makes spool type) and the Headers (maybe) - not to keen on 73-74 Mopars

I looked at a 5.7 in a 73.

Schumaker makes mounts also. Hooker or TTI headers.
.
Oil pan.

Making the fuel injection and computor work was the killer. $4000 when I looked at doing it . I bought a motor and started the project.

Switched to a 440. (no Hemi badges... :icon_smile_angry:)

$10 per HP vs $16 for the new Hemi.

Half the magic of the the little hemi is the trans behind it. 5 speed auto, low first gear and overdrive . Big mod to the tunnel to make it fit.

It is getting cheaper now .

$4000.00 to get the EFI working ?  Jeez...   I have $150 into the harness and $60 into the computer...   will need it flashed (+$250) - plus a few hours....

Hell a flashed PCM and harness is now $1750

Fuel system costs a bit but does not have to...   I have about $250.00 into it...
