How to identify a SUPERBEE

How can I tell if a 69 superbee is not just a regular coronet? Does the VIN state this somehow, or the fender tag? My buddy is looking to buy this so called superbee for $12,000, just making sure it is what the guy says WM21H9E??????. that is the VIN. The fender tag is :

A01 A62 G33 H21 R11 V8X
F5 F5 H26 F8 327 20 32 36
E63 D32 Wm21 H9E 1?????

Any help would be great he is leaving tomorrow to go take a visual at it!!

First of all the dash looks like a Charger dash. That would be the first clue.  :2thumbs:

The fender tag says it has the ralley guage!! I just think they should have a code tell you it is a SUPERBEE

The "M" in the VIN number indicates SuperBee for 1969.  There were only three engine options that year for the Superbee... The "H" code 383HP, "J" code 426 Hemi, and the late-year "M" code 440-6 option.

Looks like a 'Bee to me.

should they be with fixed quarter glass too? or that it was just on 68s ?
