that kind of power in a stock block , with 2 bolt mains , would need a block gurdle & aftermarket main caps , &  also external oiling  i think  no room for internal pick up  :scratchchin:
that much power , i would be looking into a aftermarket block i think :yesnod:

Zach, you are close to pushing the limits at 750hp in stock form, often its not if but when you drop the crank at that point.  I have seen block split and if your not careful when it happens  that will destroy rods, pistons and crankshafts along with a lot of everyother accesory on the bottom of the engine.

Not to be a dick here but have you driven a car with 600+ horse/tq before?  I just dont know your expericence?

yea my guy at the machine shop says he is going to build the block so i can handel all that power, im guessing he is do 4 bolt main and a girdle and im sure some other stuff too.  should be a fun car!!!

no offense taken, yea i have driven a car that i ran a 9.89 in, it was my dads buddys chebby nova.  and on top of that i race my bike nearly every weekend and run low 10s with that, i know a bike is nothing like a car but either way its haulin ass.

Keep in mind too though that girdle and 4 bolt mains will only do so much, meaning maybe make it last till 800.  The way the webbing and blocks from stock are constructed,,,, they often still fail at that mark,  just FYI.....

Terrified, no, just dont want to see you break, a block, (which would be the least of your worries), its all the stuff that goes along with it.... a good 2-3000+ worth of parts, not to mention machining.

Indy Maxx blocks are supposed to be good.   they make steel or alum (I think).... dont knw exact cost off the top of my head.... There also is a thread on Moparts about another brand I was not aware of not too long ago....look like GREAT stuff... most after markets will be $3-5000 for the block.  Not sure if world did just Hemi or RB too?

what about these  :2thumbs:
http://www.kolenoperformance.com/

those are the ones I was speaking of (saw on moparts.).... to me they look great... bit more weight for strenght than a stocker... but worth it if your going to HIGH HP

firefighter3931

Zach, you really should be looking at an aftermarket block if your intentions are to build a blown stroker. The stock block will be a ticking time bomb at those power levels.  :Twocents:
