Kickdown help

I have a 1973 318/904 setup. I recently changed to a 4bbl carb and dual plane intake. Since then, the transmission has not been shifting correctly. I know some of you have done this before so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul

You have a 2bbl throttle linkage on a 4 bbl application.  You need to run a 4bbl linkage(what we are calling a kickdown) or you have to modify the one you have to make it longer. It then needs to be adjusted correctly or you will screw your tranny up. 
Do a quick search for kickdown linkage and you will find tons of these threads. Matter of fact I was in the same boat a few years ago.
