Found a 1968 plymouth fury I 2 door down the road from me for a real good price.  I want to know if some parts would fit on my 68 charger project.    I could use most of the nuts and bolts.  Would the k-member fit/ rear end/armrest bases/ door handles (inside and out).  I have yet to go see the car in person.  Did a car like that come with disc brakes?  And if so would they convert onto my 68 charger?  I noticed in looking at other 68 fury's the side marker lights look the same.  Any other parts that may interchange?  Thanks for any andvice.

Unfortunately a lot of the things you've mentioned won't interchange.  Some will but many will not.  When you say a real good price, just how much is that?

I think he was wanting between 350-400 for the old plymouth.  My basic need is front suspension/rearend.  then all the nick knacks would just be extras.  Side marker lights/ window cranks/ door handles if they would work.  I am just going by what I have seen in the pictures of a similar car.  They look the same but  I physicall just have not seen a car like that in person to tell if it is the same.  Sounds like it may not be.  Is the rear end housing wider than a charger?

Rear end is wider, I'm pretty sure the marker light bezels are different exterior door handles are different I think.  As for the front suspension, I could be wrong but I don't think a whole lot of it interchanges.

Rear end is too wide.

Front suspension/K-member/brakes are totally different.

Side markers are different.

Engine/trans will work.

The Fury I is the low-line model.

Probably has a 6 cyl. or a 318.

Probably has the small drum brakes.

Sounds like more of a headache than what it's worth.

I'd go look at it, just for shits and giggles, but be prepared to walk away empty handed.
