Still breaking the motor in mauve. Only have about 60 or so miles on the new motor. Don't worry. That ride is coming. :2thumbs:

Thanks guys. The hood will be on next weekend. It's still gonna be ugly, but money has run out for now. Maybe next year I can do something with the hood.

Yes there is mally. I posted the specs in the Proven Engine Combos. I also have an ongoing thread in the Engine, Transmission, Rearend, &Exhaust section.

I still have not had a "bug" free ride yet. The last ride we determined the voltage regulator is shot. Once I change that out I think we will have the bugs out of the Bee for now.

Don't push him!  I am proud he has been as conservative as he has been so far and I can see it in his face he wants to  :drive:!  Yeah it sounds great and as he says we should have the bugs out this Saturday and then we can fire up both cars and find a stretch of road to just CRUISE   :2thumbs:, I know I am looking forward to it.   :drool5:
I Don't care about make they are all nice to look at but a pain in the ars to work on.

Thanks for the ride.  First time I've rode in a '71 Bee.  The motor sounds smooth.   :thumbs:
