Seat button

On my 73, the seats were recovered, 5-6 months ago, and the passenger seat my have been sat in 4-5 times.
Well one of my seat buttons have popped out on it and its dangelling by it's thread, Have any of you guys tried to glue it back in or anything? If so what did you use?

Don't hold me to this, but I think you can go from the underneath side and pull that "thread" back down and tie it off, pulling the button back in to place....It's worth a look-see, but like I said....don't hold me to that.
