Need to get some opinions as to what this 73 SE survivor might be worth... it's supposdly an untouched original, including paint (and driver's side quarter ding), even includes the original hoses and belts, which are no longer installed. Rust free Florida car, has 34K original miles, original interior, underhood, paint, etc.... 400 2 barrel, column automatic, AC, so it seems well optioned. Just need to get a handle on the value of it as soon as I can- thanks for any help you can offer!

I am new to mopar so can't give you great valuations but it sure looks clean! I'd grab it if you can afford it. Even nice clean original 3rd gens don't seem to go for big bucks so shouldn't be too bad. If I was throwing out a ballpark figure I would guess 8-10k based on my very limited experience.

Is it yours or someone elses?  The only reason I ask is because if its someone elses what are they asking?  Otherwhise... Mmm Perty   :yesnod:

That ding is a doosy! I agree with oldrock, I wouldn't pay more than $10k for it.

The short story is that is has been offered to me as a partial trade in a deal for my '66.... hence my anxiety in trying to establish a fair market value for it!

I wouldn't pay above $8k for it but to the right person it could be worth maybe $9.5k

Being me suposelly a 3rd gen guy, I wouldn't change the 66 fot the 73 SE UNLESS you really want a 73SE BADLY... and if so, just will get without being a trade for a 66.

I'm not a BIG FAN of 1st gens ( however I kinda like ), but they have an special charm and details ( the buckets setup, rear compartiment and fastback shape, hideaways system, electroluminiscent cluster ), what makes me NOT TO TRADE for a regular and common 73 SE ever.

Price? I would tell more than has been posted, maybe in fact on $13-14K rate, given the "survivor" conditions, and miles.

As usuall I'm usually amazed about how yourself beat the price of your own cars models

I don't know Tom, in today's market prices for our cars are all over the place. Except for the "ding" it looks to be in nice shape. I'm sure you inspected the underside real well.
One thing to remember about 3rd gens is that 73/74 Chargers just don't seem to hold their value as well as the 71/72's. Plus by 1973 these cars were no longer considered muscle cars, especially with the 2 bbl. carb and the emission controls.
My best guess is 8.5-10k, and if you plan on turning around and sell this car afterwards you might have to wait a bit to get your money back since the 73/74 aren't as desirable as the 68-72 Chargers.
