I am looking at buying everything to replace my front end and am looking at energy suspension's stuff. For there control arm bushings it says all metal must be reused. How would I go about reusing the metal? Would I have to burn out the rubber from the shell on the UCA and LCA? This is for a 73 Charger and these are what I am looking at.

yes you do ( even UCA central metals can be changed, and kit provides the inner shells to those )...

That is because with Poly kits you won't need to use a press to mount them, just install the poly section instead the rubber parts and done. Use the grease provided to slide in existant shells and will be easier

Need just to remove the rubber... use whatever method... cut, burn, anything, but shells will keep on place, and install the poly parts.

I wouldn't use anything but rubber in the LCA bushings, even if I had poly everywhere else.  If you do use poly there, then make damn sure you've checked the K-frame and control arms for cracking at the mounting points.  It's a high-stress area even with stock rubber.
