Back round 1983 there was a 69 Charegr RT that showed up in Raymond, NH that had been hit in the left front. I saw it on my way walking to school near the town center. I had never seen this car before, and i had lived in this town all my life. It had recently got hit and it had Maine plates on it. I talked to the owner (Ed Rim) and tried to gather up enough cash to buy it from him. Unfortunately, to make a long story short the brother of a friend of mine traded a dirt bike and some cash for it before i could come up with the cash. His name was John Lord. I became friends with him and bought Johns old 69 383 charger from him after he got the RT. (This was my first charger@ 14 years old) The charger was a real RT, 440 auto a/c. and it was originaly blue (b5 or b7?) with a white (?)  interior. At the time this was all going on  the interior had been changed to black. The body was orange, with side pipes and headers, and had distinctive custom black accents around the hood and door indentations. And i f i remember right, outlined with gold pinstripe. The car also had A/C.  I dont have a vin number, but the left front framerail was bent, part of the drivers flooorpan was pushed up/in and the corner of the cowl was pulled down.
I believe it also had a bumblebee stripe, both when it was orange and also when it was its original blue. I say this because i never saw any indication of the big RT emblems on the quarters. One other thing, someone put a "440" emblem on the console. John then sold it to Arthur Collins in Candia or Chester N.H....Last i knew the car was sold to someone in Derry N.H...This is the one that got away from me...(Twice). Anyone know of this Charger?
What became of it? I sometimes awaken at night thinking of it, and have to tell the wife im having flashbacks from Iraq.... :smilielol: Any leads would be appreciated.

I've lived in the area for 20 years and haven't seen it.

I remember one on Ebay in Derry a couple years ago that might've been orange?

I remember a b5 car that was sitting on RT102 in the weeds for years with a "not for sale" sign on it. That was in the late eighties.
