Starter confusion

So my starter is acting kinda weird. my car starts fine everyonce in a while but sometimes it just seems like the starter jumps off the flex plate and im worried its gonna screw up the teeth, the starter is not even a year old and i checked to see if the blots were tight and they are plenty tight.

any ideas?

take it out and inspect the teeth on the torque converter. Also while the starter is out, look at the teeth on it. Even if its a year old, if the starter was a remanufatured one it may just have some bad parts.
