I have seen a lot of chrome work and yes factory chrome was ok , just like paint jobs the factory back in 70 is nothing like a showjob these days , same goes for chrome. with a show chrome job they are straight and very beautiful. the difference is night and day.
, I have since this thread found a place in colorado that a frind here uses looks real nice altogether shipping here from alaska is about 250 dollars  the chrome job is 350 dollars . so I might go that route. with a show chrome there are no waves and ripples . if i do go with art brass I will be spending about 800 dollars including shipping and my brother can go get it as he works 1 mile from art brass. we will see when it comes time.  Thanks for all for helping with options.
