Long Island RT

Got the Dash in and wired!

Bought the seats.

Next:
Driveshaft
Radiator
Battery

Then I'll be starting it up :yesnod: and breaking in the cam!  Real nervous 'bout that as I assembled the entire thing myself.

I guess you got that tranny to work - huh?

i am dying for pics of the dash installed, and pics of it lit up too....

tranny is in and clutch is finally broke in, 500 miles of easy drivng killed me. for the most part it was painless to convert, had a few minor bumps in the road that i worked around. luckily i tried all the gears before i installed it. it had no reverse engagement. when i pulled the cover i found the shift forks swapped, this prevented the reverse rod from engaging the gear, it hit the shift fork. it was an easy swap to fix it. the trans was squeaky clean inside and still had gear oil residue in it, no rust. works good and shifts nice. i have not speed shifted it as i have a rigged up shifter handle on it righ tnow.

As far as amps you are looking for a 4 Channel amp. With wiring size based on amp draw

If you plan on adding a sub you will need a 2 - channel amp in "bridge" mode, or a sub amp or a 5 channel amp (4 channels being your current 4
speakers and the 5th the sub)

My pick would be a 2 channel that can bridge with a low ohm tolerance.

As to which one?  Its best to pick a budget to pick the "best" amp. You can spend $100 or $10,000

Names I would check into.........

Kicker
MTX
Diamond
Alpine

I would check this out as it seems to be a good deal, with good things said about them. But Ive never used one.

Anyway as always..... DEMO DEMO DEMO

Pit a few amps together on the same set of subs and see which you like the best.

If they all sound the same.... buy the cheapest one!
