Positive Battery cables, over brake booster or underneath booster?

I have been searching the site and i see a couple of different ways people have routed the positive cables to the starter relay. A few go over the brake booster and a couple of pics that go under the brake booster. Which is factory correct? Also, what type and how many plastic straps along the inner fender? (69 Charger)

Pretty positive it's under.  Chris (mod) has great close up pics of clips etc...  You can buy the plastic strap kits several places.

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

The part to the starter goes down the inner fender to the starter - the rest goes over the booster. Here is a pic and a strap discussion.

Over.  My original '69 R/T is routed over.  Others I've seen are over, also.  I think there are repro cables sold for '68-'70 B-bodies that are shorter than original, and that forces people to route it under.  I think '68 was unique originally, but I don't know what the difference was.

Anyone?  Diff between '68 and '69-'70?

68-70 should be the same. They may (or not) have different part numbers but length, fit etc should be the same. All go over the booster - unless, as tated earlier, it is the crap repro that is too short. Get the good repro....or old NOS - not the totally incorrect stuff Chrysler was selling for a long time.
