Hard to know.

I sold my sleds this winter and they were both 96 Summits. They were both mint. The 670 had a fresh engine, JAWZ pipes, rolled chaincase, dropped suspension and a few engine mods and good clutches but nothing too bid. 136 track on both. I got 2500 for it.

The second sled had less than 100 miles on it and was a 500 and I got 2000 for it! Long story!!

It seems that everybody is dumping the old technology sleds and going with the new stuff as the ride is night and day! I love the power and the climbing in the mountains but my 40 something body sure likes the handling and ride of the newer stuff. If it was me I would be buying something newer but it is a beautiful sled and would climb very well no doubt about it!

Guy is asking 7 to 8K for it, is that even close to what it's worth?

Seems pretty steep to me considering you could buy a newer chassis for that amount which may not necessarily have as much total power but would have everything else better. Ride, handing, mileage.

Silver, he has done some great mods to it, but remember, its used now. He might be into it 10 to 12 grand, or more, but what year is everything thats on it?
I would go $3500.00 to 4 grand, and thats it. Hey, its used, and once you blow it up,  your out 3 to 4 grand for a good re-build if your lucky.
And yes, I've had my share here living in Alaska of go fast sleds. 240 H.P. out of a 800 Arctic cat is sweet, until the NOS blows motor up! hahaha

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

:iagree:

The chassis is only worth a couple grand at the most and a good used engine can be had for a 1000 so my estimation would be 3000 with a mild engine and maybe an extra grand for what he has done over and above.

Good luck!
