thinking about putting a 2186 performer on my 70, will I have to relocate the coil and throttle linkage or anything else? thanks

I'm soon on same deal ( got an used one, still storaged in USA ) for the pics, it looks exactly to the stock one on exterior, just in aluminium, and probably with a little bit better flow. I was taking care of that when I got it.
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

The Performer is basicly a replacement manifold and works OK but if you're looking for a performance upgrade the DP4B is an excellent choice. Works fine with stock throttle/kickdown linkage and coil location....no mods required. A member here has one for sale. It needs some attention (bead blast and helicoils) but the price is right.  :2thumbs:

I would choose this any day of the week over a "Performer". These are old manifolds that Direct Connection used to sell over the counter as speed parts. Even though it was made by Edelbrock it still has a Mopar part number cast into it....very cool  :coolgleamA:

thanks, but I only have a performer 600 4bbl so think the matching intake will be a good fit...I'm not looking for a burner, just a mildly stronger running alternative over the cast oem manifold
