an stated NEVER USED Mopar Torque converter, but remanufactured. On box Mopar decal states REMAN TC ASSEMBLY.

got a further description after make some questions about being honest on the deal and conditions:

I got this torque converter from my cousin who had purchased it for his Charger some time ago but to my knowledge didnt use it. I was going to use it for my Charger, but when I got my trans. rebuilt a converter was included, so I didn't use it either. I checked the converter for wear marks and there are some VERY slight starter marks on the teeth, and some slight scuffs on the snout which goes into the pump. AS this is a remufactured unit I am not sure as to what to expect. The converter is in its origional box with the warranty registration card. I also checked (visually and smelled) the fluid in the converter, and found it to be fresh, with no burnt smell.

opinions.

Specially About the BOLDED phrase, I dunno either, thats why I'm asking your opinions.

The Torque converter I got from a Chrysler dealer in Florida more less one year ago was amaizingly perfect, no marks anywhere and no remanufactured spec on Mopar decal on box. Maybe that was really new and remanufactured units still have some useage marks ?

Can I trust on this ?

An unused converter wouldn't have any fluid in it nor wear marks on the starter ring gear.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

ok, but does that include REMANUFACTURED ? talking about the marks

BTW, mine got some oil inside... not full of course, but still got. Directly from Mopar dealer.
