Cool Find

I was taking the rest of my headliner out and found this in the upper corner of the windshield on the pass. side. It has a couple of paint codes and sections marked as where they were painted and checked off. It even has the shift marking but no date . Anyone else ever find one of these as this is my first . thought it was kinda cool since I don't have a fender tag or build sheet.

Cool your car had a factory Q.C. inspection  in 77 I bought a new Z/28 that had a big old honking blob of paint/crap the size of a quarter right where the X is on the nose of your sheet so I know GM didn't have any of them!

I have only found build sheets in parts cars I have owned.  I don't seem to have one cool item from a single one of the cars I have kept Great score, I would frame it if I had found it in one of my cars.

IBM card? Paperwork that WASN'T destroyed in the warehouse fire? (I don't know. I'm asking.)

Heck even comparing SO numbers with other cars could give you an approximation of the build date. If someone had a registry database like that... I bet it'd be better if it were run by a guy named Chris. 

That H51 at the top is interesting. Is it an A/C car?
If so, I wonder why they note that on that page. To make sure the inspector checks the A/C, too, maybe?

I wish I had the fender tag as it has the 4-speed pedals and hump that was cut and rewelded. When I was taking the dash out you can see the mark from the backup indicator. Is there any other way to tell if it was factory 4-speed? Thanks-Rich
