I just found these vids of the Challenger that I built a couple of years ago. The guy that I sold it to re-sold it to buy some new equipment for his construction company. Man do I miss that car. Sure wish I could have kept it. It was my first hemi car (okay...hemi clone). But it was still a blast to drive. I just had way too many toys.

Nice looking Challenger...I would miss it too. 

Do you remember what gauges you installed in it? They look nice and I have a '72 with the standard dash and was thinking of doing something like that instead of using the factory stuff.

The gauges are Pro Comp white face gauges, but I don't recall the style. I chose the ones that looked the most like stock gauges. I think the speedo was 5" and the other gauges were 2 5/8. They fit right into the cluster with some trimming on the back side. They all worked great, even the fuel gauge. I plan to do the same thing to a 70 Barracuda ratrod that I'm getting ready to build. It will be flat black with black rims, lowered 2 inches all of the way around and will be 440 powered. I have the car and everything to build it but time.

As for selling the car, I decided to sell it to have the cash to build the new shop. I built a 3200 sq ft body shop and had enough cash left over to buy a 26' Kayco Powder coated paint booth, a two post lift and a trip to Vegas for SEMA and drag racing.

I wouldn't trade the shop back for the car. That's for sure. I would rather finish up my Daytona and a couple of the cudas first with that kind of cash.

That's not a wide door gap. The passenger door is slightly open. The gaps on the car were dead on. I don't build them any other way.
