Does anyone know if the year one vinyl tops are correct in appearance? Or what is out there as an alternative?

My body guy just let me know theres rust under the top. I was planning on keeping the original in place but its pretty dry and I believe if he attempts to lift it to do his metal work its going to tear.

Any help is always appreciated!

I have a Year-One top on my car and am very happy with the appearance, fit and quality.
I can't verify if the grain pattern is exactly correct as I have never held a piece of it up to a known original, but I'll bet it's very close if not spot on.

YEAR ONE IS ON MINE. :yesnod:

Legendary is on the car that I am restoring.  It is a dead on match to the original.  Not only is the grain correct but so is the stitch... perfect.

Chris,

I have been watching...... :pity:

its wanting me to get the top done before I paint or just attempt it myself in which case I know there will be no substandard work issues. Im just not so sure I can do it.  :shruggy:
