19 years later find charger not rebodied

texting this. Sanded trunk lip with vin stamping and it matches rt vin. When i checked years ago i didnt sand it because it didnt look close. Front clip from 318 car was grafted on, so core suport and fender matched 318 car. Plus i found that both cars were same color or rt may be dark bronze not much to go by. I have been leary the car may have stolen at some point, but it looks like it was smashed and rebuilt.

It is quite possible the situation is as you stated, front clip has been replaced due to accident. Usually people don't/didn't mess with the trunk area. If you can live with the fact it's been hit hard in the front, then it's of interest, especially if it has the fender tag as well......

i took my paint sample chart and compared and car is light bronze just like 318 car. I had car on back burner last few years but am close to getting it runing again. Plus starting on bodywork.
