Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

That's great news Doug !  :2thumbs: So the engine is getting a new set of .060 over slugs...are you gonna bump up the static compression at all ? What are you doing with the heads ?

Maybe we can line them up sometime this year ?  :icon_smile_big:

Silver 69 Hemi four speed Charger; you're still one of my heroes Doug.

And if you and Ron run them off, I hope it's a race I get to watch, it sounds like a race where no one loses.

OOPS! I thought it was a 440!  :o The Mighty Hemi !! :2thumbs:

I probably missed this somewhere, but is your 69 an original hemi car, & is that the original engine?

Yes..it's an original Hemi, 4 spd....no it's an aftermarket (mopar performance) block.

Ron...

Everything is staying pretty much the same. It will be returning to mostly street trim....even going back to the stock intake manifold...and yes, we do need to line them up this year if I can keep from breaking it again.... :brickwall:

It's pretty cool to see one like yours racing instead of sitting at a show with chains around it.
